BOOKS DESIGN ILLUSTRATION
I independently illustrated and designed several book displays.

Changbai Mountain 10-Year Memorial Book
I fully illustrated and designed this narrative-driven notebook, crafting both its visuals and storyline.



Cover Design:
To evoke the essence of snow, I selected a specialty paper originally created by Kenya Hara (designer of Japan's Winter Olympics materials). Its innovative print-reactive surface becomes translucent, while the textured finish mimics the softness of snow.

I was solely responsible for both the complete illustration work and comprehensive layout design.


EAST SEA PEARL Book Set Production Details

This two-volume set features distinct special effects:
  • Volume 1: Printed with hydrochr
    omic ink that becomes transparent when wet
  • Volume 2: Uses photochromic ink that reacts to light
  • Dust jacket: Mirror-finish paper creates water reflection effects

All specialty inks were custom screen-printed through manufacturer collaborations to achieve these unique tactile and visual experiences.
